Did you know, the Keystone State is home to 40 species of amphibians and 38 species of reptiles? Amphibians and reptiles serve as bioindicators and can tell us important information about the quality of the environment around us.
On this evening children who are just learning to read may stop by the library to read to Clyde, a KPETS certified Therapy dog.
This program is for children learning to read or who need practice reading!
KPETS are trained therapy dogs who love to listen to children reading to them.

There are two age brackets for this competition: ages 8-11 and ages 12-18.
Adams County 4-H is planting interest in gardening and 4-H at the Carroll Valley Library. The hands-on presentation will teach youth about the basic needs of a garden and how plants thrive and grow.
