In partnership with the Adams County Community Foundation Giving Spree, the Adams County Library is pleased to present nine Donor Information Sessions in October.

Children ages 3-5 are invited to a storytime that will prepare them for kindergarten by practicing pre-academic skills (letters, numbers, calendar, and fine motor skills) through books and activities. 

What’s the same? What’s changed? What’s changed a lot?! Take a look at Littlestown from the past and the present through historic and current maps of the town. This program is presented by Ken Thomas from the Littlestown Historical Society.

Ready to get into the Halloween spirit? Gather around our electric marshmallow roaster to toast delicious s’mores as you’re told scary stories. Feel free to share your own favorite spine-chilling tales to add to the fun!

Learn about Andy Goldworthy, a contemporary British artist who creates using natural materials, such as leaves and pine cones. You’ll then have a chance to create your own unique masterpiece based on his works. For ages 6-12.

Math doesn’t have to be so scary! It’s the spookiest time of the year and the New Oxford Library is helping you practice your math while having fun! Join us as we try different activities involving numbers. Can we count on you to be here?

Teens can come in to gush over their favorite anime and watch the first episode of a new on on these evenings!
