Do your kids love to cook? Do they want to learn? Did you ever think they’d be asked to cook and eat in a library? Well…come join the fun during a special day in the “kitchen” at your very own Littlestown Library!
Join us on the first and third Thursday of the month from 12:30 to 2:30! Bring your machine and current personal project, or work on charity quilts. Beginners welcome!
Teens will help to guide children through activities.
On this date York County Solid Waste Authority will present Vermicomposting: Worms with an Appetite (for Waste)!
For adults and teens
Drop in and try a sparkly diamond painting project. Bring your own, or a kit will be provided. Easy to learn and hard to stop. Join the addictive trend!
Stop in and create your own hand-dipped marbleized mugs. Space is limited; registration required.
Meet up at the Oakside Park pond in Biglerville to check out and sample our local water. Test for eight different test factors, learn about indicators of water quality, and talk about local animal, plant, and insect life.
Bring your diamond painting project and join other diamond painting enthusiasts!
New to diamond painting? Come to the intro class that will be held once a month.
Intro class dates will be June 1, July 6, and August 3.
Bring your kids to the library during summer break and learn how to diamond paint!
Every child will get to make a diamond painting animal sticker! Ages 8 and up.
Teens 12-18 are invited to the library to plant their own marigolds outside! (Weather permitting. if the weather is not ideal for outside, we will be in the Mary Cash room) Pots and flowers will be provided. Registration required.
Award-winning poet and flash fictionist Alba Sarria holds an all-inclusive group for those who want to create, discuss, edit, publish, and actively do more creative writing.
THURSDAY, JULY 6: The Power of Prompts and Timers
Tracey Black will be at the library as Mother Goose to do some storytelling.
