Children ages 3-5 are invited to a storytime that will prepare them for kindergarten by practicing pre-academic skills (letters, numbers, calendar, and fine motor skills) through books and activities. 

Did you know that there is actually a lot of science behind the spinning of a top?  We’ll craft our own spinners and learn about how a spinner or top rotates by discussing physics and motion. 

For Ages 4-12

Lots and lots of LEGO bricks. Free play with optional fun challenges!

Children in grades K-5 are invited to the library for an afterschool snack along with some stories.

Reading to a therapy dog helps to build confidence in new or reluctant readers. 

Bring your child to the library to read to Danny, our favorite KPets pup!
