Drop In Crafting: A Total Eclipse

Come out to the community park and take part in the eclipse! Bring some snacks and a blanket to sit on while we watch the eclipse happen and learn some interesting facts! Eclipse glasses will be provided. 

Drop in for space-themed activities for families, and a chance for all to get together to watch the eclipse from our courtyard (weather permitting). Solar glasses and snacks provided.

Create a statement piece by upcycling books into one-of-a-kind jewelry. This program will feature tutorials of how to create your own literary-themed accessories from books that are falling apart and bound for the trash.

Stop into the Teen Center for casual or competitive table tennis every Wednesday and Friday throughout the spring season.

Have you been interested in learning conversational Spanish or brushing up on the Spanish language? Join our club and practice speaking Spanish in a friendly atmosphere led by New Oxford High School ESL teacher, Minerva Medina.

Adults: join us for an afternoon of tea, relaxation, and crafting. Each month we'll be making a fun, simple, seasonal craft in a no-stress environment. Registration is encouraged but not required.

Take a fun, free personality quiz in order to discover which personality type you are! Learn which fictional characters share your type, discover your strengths and weaknesses, and see who you’re most compatible with!

Create a unique piece of literary jewelry. Supplies will be available to make bracelets, necklaces, and keychains. Registration required.

It's National Library Week!  Children of all ages are invited to come check out books in our darkened children's area using library provided flashlights.

Want to learn American Sign Language (ASL)? Join branch assistant Lexi for Sign Time. This is a monthly program in which Lexi will teach you American Sign Language (ASL). All ages and skill levels are welcome to come and learn some ASL.

Read the book Because of Winn-Dixie by Kate DiCamillo and then come to the library to watch the movie. Compare and contrast the two! Pizza provided.
