Former Poet Laureate of York, ordained minister and Assistant to the Bishop for Justice Ministry in the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America, and two-time key to York City award winner for historical and educational initiatives, Carla Christopher, delights in the art of the story. Research and pilgrimage from Philadelphia to Maryland to (of course) Gettysburg became poems of abolitionists, justice advocates and healing. Join Carla for an evening of song, story, and hope-inspiring history through poems.
