Join Andre Weltman as he discusses the South Mountain Railroad and its successors. From the 19th century rail lines connecting Carlisle to Pine Grove Furnace completed in 1870 to the extension indirectly to Gettysburg, a decade later. Find out about the last trains to the furnace area, as a destination for recreation in 1936.
