Prior to attending this program, you’ll need to collect a few small items that you think represent memories of your life. This could be as simple as the little paper fortunes from fortune cookies, concert tickets, miniature toys, stickers, stones or shells from a vacation; really anything tiny that has personal meaning to you. With this menagerie of miniatures you will be assembling a time capsule and decorating it with provided materials. You’re welcome to bring your own materials too- like photos or newspaper clippings- just make sure that anything that you bring will fit in/on a box that is roughly 2 inches deep by 2 inches high by 4 inches wide. You’ll then be instructed to create a sentence on a small strip of paper for each memory. When completed you will have the option to hot glue your box shut so that it can be stored away for as long as you wish!
