What kind of critters can be found in a stream? Turtles, frogs & fish? Maybe! But there is also amazing wildlife hidden among the rocks and leaves in the stream that tell the story of the health of the stream – some as small as your fingernail. Join Penn State Extension Master Watershed Stewards as we sample Piney Creek at Littlestown Community Park, explore the “macroinvertebrates” found there, and learn what they tell us about water quality. Make sure to wear appropriate shoes and clothes for exploring the creek. Registration encouraged but not required.
