Gettysburg Eddie: The Story of Eddie Plank

Lawrence Knorr presents details from his recent book Gettysburg Eddie about the Hall of Fame left-handed pitcher, Eddie Plank. Plank was one of the leading contributors to Connie Mack's successful Philadelphia Athletics teams of the early 1900s. Knorr covers Plank's early years in youth and town ball, his major league career, and his brief time afterward. Signed copies of the book will be for sale.
Lawrence Knorr has written or co-written over 30 books, most of them on local or regional history. He has completed his doctoral studies for a Ph.D. in History from Liberty University and is currently working on his dissertation. Knorr is also the founder and CEO of Sunbury Press, Inc, the book publisher.
