Are you a trendsetter? An environmentalist? An avid snacker? If you said yes to any of those questions, join us to discuss the growing interest in entomophagy–the practice of eating insects. We’ll celebrate World Edible Insect Day by talking about Mary Boone’s book Bugs for Breakfast and taste-testing foods made with crickets. Registration is required, so please register online or at the children’s desk. *people with shellfish allergies may be allergic to insects. Ages 8-14.
