Many of us grew up with the impression that Abner Doubleday invented Baseball, which he definitely did NOT invent. In fact, he never claimed he did. When a committee decided that Doubleday had invented baseball, it was too late for him to complain. His career as a Civil War soldier, however, is remarkable. Come join Bob O’Connor as he discusses his book about Abner Doubleday.
