"Every Story Counts... Find Yours"

November is National Novel Writing Month, when aspiring writers gather to work on their dream projects! We're providing a virtual space for local folks to share their trials and tribulations of writing this November. Set your word count goal for each day, silence the inner editor, and write the first draft of the story you've always been meaning to tell! It can be any type, any genre.

We're having a virtual word sprint every Saturday from 4:30pm-5:30pm. If you would like to participate in the word sprint, register below with an email address to receive the Zoom link. Please indicate which days you want to attend in the "Special Notes" section of the registration form.

Participants in the virtual edition of National Novel Writing Month can pick up a bag of official NaNoWriMo goodies at the Littlestown Library! (Supplies are limited, so call ahead to reserve a goody bag.) Click here for some virtual badges and flair to announce that you're committed to writing this month.

If you like, you can go to the NaNoWriMo website for free to join the official challenge to write 50,000 words in 30 days (about 1,667 words per day), but that is not required to participate in the Littlestown Library's Virtual Edition of National Novel Writing Month.

NaNoWriMo is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that provides tools, structure, community, and encouragement to help people find their voices, achieve creative goals, and build new worlds — on and off the page.
